Why We Built Stilla
AI gives individuals superpowers. One person does work that used to take a team.
But collaboration hasn't kept up. As individuals gained superpowers, teams got slower.
Traditional alignment—meetings, syncs, docs—was built for a slower era. At 10x speed, you can't align through scheduled touchpoints. Everyone moves fast. Nobody moves together.
AI didn't break collaboration. It exposed the next bottleneck: alignment. The solution is to automate alignment and stream it in real time.
The Missing Layer
Every company adopts AI the same way: islands of intelligence. Developers get Cursor or Claude Code. PMs get ChatGPT. Designers get Figma AI. Everyone gets smarter alone. The organization doesn't.
Capability isn't the bottleneck anymore. Context is.
AI agents can do meaningful work. But useful work requires deep context; the decision made 2 minutes ago, why that customer is frustrated about a bug we just saw in Sentry, what the team actually prioritizes not what the outdated Notion page says. A living understanding of what's being built, why, and by whom.
Streaming Context in a Multi-Player World
Stilla's insight: AI needs streaming context. Not docs dumped into a prompt. Continuous, real-time understanding flowing across meetings, Slack, GitHub, Linear or wherever your work happens.
