Why this role exists. Stilla has a product that customers love and a growing base of teams who adopt it bottom-up. This role bridges product-led growth and strategic sales to capture the rapidly growing interest of enterprise customers.
What you’ll own. From first conversation to signed contract — you run the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle sales. Own the entire journey from prospecting through discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.
- Pipeline generation. Source and qualify your own opportunities
- Strategic selling. Map org charts, build multi-threaded relationships with C-level and VP buyers, and craft proposals that connect Stilla to their real business problems
- Cross-functional collaboration. Partner with the rest of the team to shape positioning, refine messaging, and feed customer insights back into the roadmap
- Demo & solutions engineering. As a founding GTM hire, you own the demo as well. Run live product walkthroughs, build custom demo environments, handle technical questions, and design implementation plans
- Solution design. Understand how Stilla fits into a company’s existing workflows and tooling. Tailor the pitch to show concrete ROI
- Contracting & deal ops. Draft and negotiate contracts, manage redlines, coordinate legal reviews, and keep CRM data pristine. You maintain your own pipeline hygiene: stages, notes, next steps, forecast accuracy
- AI-powered workflows. Use AI tools on a daily basis to automate as much as possible of the above
You’ll thrive in this role if below resonates
- 4+ years in B2B SaaS sales, strategy consulting, investment banking, or a similar high-velocity environment
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
- Can hold a room with a C and VP-level person, and debug a workflow with a product manager — in the same day
- Exceptional communicator, written and verbal
- First-principles thinker who rolls up their sleeves. You don’t wait for playbooks — you write them
- Obsessed with AI and how it’s reshaping how teams work. You’re using the products, not just reading the press releases
- Loves the sales craft, but believe you can own more tasks than what a traditional AE role offers — e.g. demos
This role is probably not for you if you
- Rather rely on Solution Engineers for demos, and BDR/SDRs for pipeline generation
- Are looking for an immediate manager role as a next step in your career
- Don’t believe that the best thing you can do for your career is becoming AI fluent immediately
